Pastor Rick has considered and been considered for leadership in the church. Final consideration will be made in April 2005 at the International Laborers Convention held at headquarters. Therefore Old Landmark Ministries, Inc. of Bellingham, Washington, will be known as Old Landmark Cathedral CCOGIC, USA. Old Landmark Cathedral will be the headquarters of CCOGIC, USA 1st Jurisdiction, Washington. May your prayers be with Pastor Hamilton, and Bishop J. L. About Rev. Richard E. Hamilton, II,

Rev. Richard E. Hamilton, II, Rick was born in South Central Los Angeles, California where he received his formal education, and calling into Christian Service. Recognizable with the moniker of "The Quiet Lion" by his Pastor, Rev. Dr. Cecil L. "Chip" Murray of First A.M.E. Church of Los Angeles. Rick served the office of Historian and President for the Southern California Conference, Young Peoples Department of the Women’s Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. After completing High School, Rick enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Serving Four plus years, he was one of many to have served during The Gulf War, Operation Desert Shield / Desert Storm until his Honorable discharge in 1991. In 1992, Rick moved to Layton, Utah, joining the staff of Jesus Peoples’ Ministries Inc. a non-denominational Christian Fellowship under the Pastorate of his uncle, Rev. Rodney V. Hamilton, Sr. where he became a Licensed Minister, and appointed the Minister of Music. In this position, he and the church choir headlined "Music in the Park" in 1993, a program established by the Layton City Parks Dept. to promote music in the community. As a Gospel music soloist, he has performed for the Davis County, Utah, County Fair, Wasatch Mountains Christian Crusade, and numerous church celebrations inside, and outside of JPM. Min. Rick began Pastoral Counseling and Office Administration at Homeless Veterans Fellowship in Ogden, Utah when he rediscovered the needs of Veterans, and the homecoming many have never received. He was also a founding member of Wasatch Gospel Promotions, who produced concerts headlined by such Gospel music greats as Pastor Shirley Caesar, and The Williams Brothers, and has served on numerous ecumenical ministerial councils through out the Salt Lake City Area. Rick moved to the Seattle area in 1996 where he received his Ordination and established Old Landmark Ministries, Inc. Rick is a member and Post Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1585, Service officer with the Whatcom County Veterans Relief Fund, Potters House International Pastoral Alliance, True Grace Ministries Christian Ministers Association, and an Instructor with the Crossroad Bible Institute.

1. We believe in the Plenary-Verbal inspiration of the Sacred Scriptures (II Timothy 3:16, I Corinthians 2:13).

2. We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as One God existing in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13-14).

3. We believe in the Creation, Test and Fall of man, as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to Divine righteousness (Romans 5:12, 18).

4. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man (Luke 1:26-35, John 1:18, Isaiah 7:14, 9:6).

5. We believe Christ died for your sins, was buried, rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples (I Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 4:25).

6.We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and personal, literal, and bodily coming again the second time for the Church (John 14:2-3, I Thessalonians 4: 13-18).

7. We believe in the Salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the Cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins (Eph. 2:8-9, Heb. 9:11-12, Rom. 5:11).

8. We believe in the command of Water Baptism by immersion, after conversion, in the Name of the Eternal Godhead, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, into the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:19, Acts 2: 34-36, Acts 19:1-6).

9. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to Salvation, with the Scriptural evidence; namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit give utterance (Acts 2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46, Gal. 3:14-15).

10. We believe in the operation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as enumerated in I Cor. 12-14, believe they be manifested in the Local Church decently and in order.

11. We believe in the Spirit filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith (Eph. 5:18; I Cor. 6:14; 7:1).

12. We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine Healing in its varied aspects as practiced by the Early Church (Acts 4:30; Rom. 8:11; I Cor. 12:9; James 5:14).

13. We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord's Supper, for believers (I Cor. 11:28-32).

14. We believe in Eternal Life for the Believer (John 5:25; 3:16), Eternal Punishment of the Unbeliever ( Mark 9:43-58; II Thess. 1:9; Rev.20:10-15). We believe in the Eternal states, Heaven and Hell.

15. We believe in the reality and personality of our enemy, Satan, and the Eternal Judgment of Satan and his angels (Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:10-15).

16. We believe that in these last days God is preparing a Bride for His Son which shall be made up of perfected people (Rev. 21:2, 9;Eph. 5:24-33; Rev. 12:1, 2, 6, 14, 16).

17. We believe in the operation of the five ministries as enumerated in Ephesians 4:11, believe they should be recognized and manifested in the Local Church today (Eph. 4:8, 11; Rev. 18:20; Matt. 23:34; Acts 12:28).

18. We believe Deut. 6:1-9, the "Pivotal Passage of Scripture: and other scriptures reveal parents are responsible for the education of their children. This responsibility may be delegated to whomever they choose. (Prov. 22:6).
